High student loan debt stopping you from pursuing a career in beauty? The Atarashii Apprentice Program's main objective is to partner with mentoring sponsor salons, spas, shops, and beauty industry apprentice candidates to provide oversight, reporting, and fundamental training to enhance on-the-job training. Apprenticeships are jobs where you get paid to learn, and Atarashii helps facilitate an environment where motivated individuals can obtain sustainable careers within the beauty industry.

The Professional Beauty Association provides beauty industry workers with the latest news about the industry and licensing issues. The PBA Advocacy team works tirelessly to track bills affecting our industry, fights for legislation improving salons, and more. Additionally, they support the Texture Education Collective, and influence cosmetology state board licensing requirements and curriculums to be inclusive of all hair textures and all hair types. Become an advocate to assist in protecting cosmetology licensing or make a donation to help support the cause.

Destroy the Hairdresser is a coaching-based group that is changing the industry. They helped to establish an industry first: Hairdressers Healthcare. They also provide coaching services for salon owners to help create the salons of the future. They value and encourage a culture of boldness, where calculated risks are seen as opportunities for growth and innovation, embrace the power of emotional intelligence and critical thinking, and foster a culture of personal responsibility, where each individual takes ownership of their actions, decisions, and outcomes.
